From Poetry to Peace: A Heartwarming Guestbook Note at Posada San Marcos
There are moments that remind us precisely why we created Posada San Marcos. Recently, our guests Gordon and Dixie sent us a beautiful entry for our guestbook inspired by Robert Frost’s famous poem, capturing the peacefulness, nature walks, and delicious local discoveries of their time with us in Alájar.
It brings us immense pleasure to see how guests connect with the surrounding nature and atmosphere of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche. Gordon and Dixie shared these wonderful words:
'Thanks again for being such wonderful hosts for us last week. In our rush to get out-the-door we were not able to write anything for your guestbook, which we wanted to do. So, please find a scribble attached to this note....'
Knowing that Posada San Marcos remains a warm sanctuary where visitors can enjoy regional gastronomy, scenic trails, and peaceful starry nights is the most rewarding part of what we do. A heartfelt thank you to Gordon and Dixie for their wonderful warmth and friendship.
